One of the most popular comedians of the 1980’s is still out there and performing for all to see. He has been doing standup comedy since he was discovered by Ed McMahon on Star Search well over 20 years ago and is still hitting the stage on a regular basis even today. He has been doing many things in the time he was found through today. He has appeared in multiple sitcoms as well as appearing in movies, but his true love and life calling is in stand up. He will be performing in Utah on September and will travel all over the country bringing his comedy with him all the way to December 18. Catch him if you can.

Everyone still remembers and talks about Seinfeld. This is one of the most successful and popular shows to ever hit television and the person behind it all is still going strong even today. Jerry Seinfeld is still putting out shows for everyone come and see as he continues to tour with his stand up for many to watch and see. He still has shows scheduled throughout the year and all over the country starting in September and going all the way through December. He is still providing his same deadpan method and is still making the crowds roll in the aisles with his unique and fun look at the world.

Here are a couple of the great stand up comedians of the current times who have found success in a number of different outlets. Not only did they start out together as stand up comics on their own. They ended up both having their own sitcoms on television where the shows were based on the standup comedy they did for years. However not only did they have their own shows, they moved on to movies and are back touring the country again as comedians. This time they are performing together and are more than willing to put it all on the line to make their fans happy. They currently have dates for performances at the Mirage in Las Vegas on various dates in September through November.

Carlos Mencia is one of the hottest Latino comedians to ever come out of California. He is known for his work on HBO as well as for his work that he has done with his own show on Comedy Central, “The Mind of Mencia.” Carlos is known for his off the wall comedy and ability to equally poke fun at everyone when he puts on a show. He is going to be going a tour that will last a little over a month that will start on September 10 and will cover a large number of cities over that time all over the United States. Covering Alaska, Michigan and New York and New Jersey on his travels.

Everyone remembers the dad from Full House as being the loveable and understanding Danny tanner. What a lot of people do not realize is that he was a successful comedian on the stand up tour before that and has since gone back to his roots as he continues to hit the trail and to provide entertainment all over the country. He is going on a cross-country tour that is starting September 24 in California and will span the entire country over the next 4 months going back and forth between both coasts and in between. So look where he is playing and go see him to have a great night out.

Does anyone remember the rude and crude comedy of Andrew Dice Clay of the late 1980’s? Well unbelievably, he is still out there and performing almost every night with his collection of dirty nursery rhymes crude jokes. He is out performing in Las Vegas nearly every night. He performs at the Shimmer Cabaret at the Las Vegas Hilton. No, he does not really tour the country anymore as he seems to have found a home, but he is still putting butts in the seats and keeping people happy and rolling night after night. If you have the chance when in Vegas, go and see this comedy legend.

Coming in August in a date to be determined a new show will hit the lineup on Comedy Central. This show is called Big Lake. It focuses on how a young man is trying to do all that he can in order to be able to save his town, even if it means that he will need to give up his life and start to take up residence on his parents couch.

This show features executive producers, Chris Henchy, Will Ferrell and Adam McKay. Josh Franklin (Chris Gethard) tries to save the city with the help of his friends Horatio Sanz and Chris Parnell. The only thing that can be said is that with this group the show will be funny from what they have done before.

Sanz plays and ex con and Parnell a former burnt out teacher who all work together to try and save this small town from disaster.

Daniel Tosh Tickets Now on Sale for 60 City Tour

One of the more popular shows that is now on Comedy Central is Tosh.0. This is a show in which stand up comedian Daniel Tosh looks for and finds funny web movies and makes fun of them among other things. He not only does this, he is a well established stand up comic who, in an effort to promote his show will be performing in a new comedy tour that will be sponsored by Comedy Central.

Over the course of three months, Tosh will be bringing his own brand of comedy to 60 cities so he will be able to enlighten and entertain all of his fans with his off the wall look at the world and what is going on. So make sure to check out his calendar and try to get comedy tickets for one of his shows that will be appearing in a city that will be near you.

That is the big news you are going to hear about as the recent remaking of the show has been discovered. The show about a couple of brain dead teenagers committing stupid acts that was a mainstay on MTV in the early 1990’s is going to be making a comeback. This show which spawned the beginning of the long FOX show King of the Hill has not been in production for a while. It is not even officially announced that MTV will be bringing it back but all indications are that this is what is going to happen.

This was a show that many parents did not really want their children watching as it was not necessarily what many would call wholesome television. It was a show that simply showed just how dumb and ignorant some people can be as teenagers and was simply stupid humor. Yet it had its followers and many of them will be tuning in again once it hits the airwaves.
